NC bassin Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Ok, so Theres a residential pond I goto near my house. its relativity small. but I have a hard to catching fish constantly. are there any baits particular that work well in small ponds? I plan to take my raft out today. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted May 7, 2013 Super User Posted May 7, 2013 4" robo worm and a split shot about 12 inches above will catch them all day! My goto from the bank! Quote
Super User MCS Posted May 7, 2013 Super User Posted May 7, 2013 In addition to the senkos, weightless rattlesnakes, trick worms or flukes all spring and summer and Horny toads, poppers or buzz baits ontop. Cooler weather a Texas rig ribbon tail, rattlesnake or brush hog works. Dunno your local temps......Lizards weightless or on a lightly weighted swimbait hook swiming it around. Quote
fishinghunter96 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Drop shot with like 6 inches from hook to weight with a 4 inch finesse style worm and just shake it. You will kill them with out a doubt. Quote
