It has been slow this year (slow for here) but with the 70 degree days the bass are starting to get active.  We fished yesterday got 5 no big ones but my brother lost a big one when it cut the line on a steel cable on a dock.  I wasn't going to take the boat out today but a guy down the lake got a 5.9 pound bass and a 3 pounder so I had to go out. (his came on a worm). I fished for a hour and 1/2 I got 2 bass.(3 pounds and 2.5) 2 crappie and a catfish. (all on crankbait strike kind KVD and a Scatter Rap) last week I got one 4 and a friend down the end of the lake got one 6. I miss last year i had a home office and could fish 7 days a week and it was70 degrees in march...now we have a real office and spring took longer to get here...

No private 100 acre lake only about 5 people really fish it full of 4-6 pound bass and has bass over 10 geist can't touch it..lol I fished today got one 6 pounds on next cast or 2 I hook another bass and after about 15 seconds he comes flying out of the water he was 6 or bigger he spit it (kvd 1.5) I wasn't as upset as normal since I just got the one before...I got a 3 on the way home ...brother went this morning while we were on our way back from tipp they got 12 biggest was 4.5 -5 (didn't weight that one)...I spent the first 2 hours of the evening fighting jet skis then the bass heated up...also lost one about 5 about 10 min before I got the big one in the boat
