hey guys, lately ive been fishing lakes around Ocala, Fl (halfmoon, rodman, panasoffkee bryant) and have been having a good amount of luck, but after fishing Lochloosa a couple times im completely stumped.. only catching 3-5 fish a day kills me.. the water visibility is only 1-2ft and we have been fishing in water ranging from 3-6 feet mostly. the only things we seem to be cathing them on are junebug-red speed worms and one or two here and there flipping heavy pads. any tips would be appreciated. help a brother out!

Weightless Senko Wacky/T-rig, its my "need to catch one" bait. I like Black/Blue Flk for 1-2 ft of clarity, any dark color Senko really. Just remember fish it slow and like a T rig worm. Wait for it to fall all the way as its a very slow bait weightless

Ill definitely try it out..I'm fishing a tournament out there Saturday and need some help. Lol..do you have any recommendations for flipping heavy pads? I've been flipping watermelon red brush hogs with a 3/4oz tungsten on 65lb braid. Been catching a few, but not many..nearly the whole edge of the lake is covered with pads.

Id go with smallest weight i can get away with on the soft plastics...You really cant beat frogs on pads you can throw swimming frogs(if you can get it in between vegetation) and top water frogs. I like using the lightest rod/reel i can get away with as well but thats just what im use too and my personal opinion which im sure someone will tell you otherwise

Tight lines and let me know how you do in the tourny

P.S. Since your in FL id definatly start the day with a top water frog!

Well, as expected.. Low weigh in for the tourney.. 11.75lbs won it..i weighed in at 10.32lbs..started the day throwing horny toads and ribbit frogs and didn't catch anything but a gar. Started throwing a black and blue jig with a junebug fluke as a trailer and caught all my fish on it. Also flipped grasslines and pads and lost a monster.. But it was the only bite i got in about an hour of straight flipping
