Im new to the forum and bass fishing in general. this is my second year spending time on the water. Next week im going to take my first trip to guntersville and dont really know where to start. My home lake is douglas lake in east tn, which is a complete different type of water. So if you got any advice lay it on me.

Try asking about Guntersville in the Southeast section of the Forum.

 

Also Google Lake Guntersville and see what pops up.

yea i definitely do. ive done a little looking into it and trying to learn what i can from it.

Whats up NewGuy I too live in east TN and my home lake is Fort Loudon but i have fished Douglas and i have also taken 3 trips to Guntersville. I threw Rat-L-Traps along weeds. I also had luck with a Green Pumpkin 6" senko weightless (Only tried one other color though). And of course prob my favorite thing we did was throw big top-water frogs in the lily pads and shallows. I must say watching a 5 pound bass explode on those frogs on that beautiful lake was what got me into bass fishing in the first place!
