i bank fish 90% of the time...

parallel to start always... then fan cast..

i've had best luck with..

zoom u tail in watermelon seed and red shad

zoom trick worm watermelon magic

zoom finesse worm green pumpkin magic

lake for tackle live magic shad any color

zoom fluke white and baby bass

4" senko wacky rigged pumpkin with green/blk flake

rage ananconda green pumpkin

black jitterbug...early and late

cavitron buzzbait  black and white

spinnerbait white

i've not had much luck with cranks or jigs 'cause they get hung up all the time where i fish....too rocky and too many laydowns.

good luck!

wont catch as many this way- but most of my monster bass in ponds came early and late on a topwater chugger or a zara spook type lure- buzzbaits are also deadly....  my Dad's biggest 8.9 came on a weightless worm swimming it slowly on top... WHAM BAM

All of my fishing is from the bank. Ponds, small lakes and small phosphate pits. I've caught em on t-rig plastics, lipless, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, topwater, ect... pretty much anything i've tried.

Still working on my first jig bass and waiting on my crankbaits to arrive to try those.

I'd think anything will work once you find the fish. ;)

All my fishing so far has been from the bank and I've had the most success with the Strike King 1XS shallow crank in Gizzard Shad color.

Last year it was jigs and spinner baits.

There is no secret lure for bank fishing , you fish the same lures that you fish from a boat.

FTW! i bank fished all my life up until 6yrs ago. i use the exact same lures as i would on a boat. you need to know your local forage and go out and take notes. taking notes may sound rediculous but when you see patterns your catch rate will increase.
