jhoffman Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 If you absolutely have to sand I would use 1600 or 2000 and wet sand it. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I used 3m restorer and wax. It worked wonders. You can check the thread out here: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/96810-oxioxydmy-boat-was-cloudy/?hl=%2Bima+%2Bbass+%2Bninja#entry1070283 Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted April 30, 2013 Super User Posted April 30, 2013 I would strongly advise against sanding unless you have alot of experience. If you must use a super fine wet dry sandpaper and wet sand. The top coat is thin and is easily marred. Quote
dyerfish Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 Thanks,i would rather not sand if i don't have to Quote
BenB54 Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I used Zing on my boat and it worked wonders. I just cut it 50/50 with water and applied it with a scrub brush and just let it sit for a little bit and then hosed it off. http://www.zingboatcleaners.com/ Here are some pics only using Zing, this was before I washed and waxed it.
