Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted April 26, 2013 Super User Posted April 26, 2013 Who is George Jones? Is he the Vegas guy that's so awesome? Whoever he is. Thoughts and prayers with his family. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 27, 2013 Super User Posted April 27, 2013 I don't feel sad, George Jones had a great run and will remain a legend in Country Music. Always know to his millions of fans as simply, Jones. His legacy has been an inspiration for generations in the music business. 2 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted April 27, 2013 Super User Posted April 27, 2013 RW's right. Jones had a great run. He exemplified country music for me. The struggles and successes he had would have made for some good country songs. Come to think of it, they did. Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 27, 2013 Super User Posted April 27, 2013 Great songs but he always sang about heartbreak. Great voice. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted April 27, 2013 Super User Posted April 27, 2013 He lived like he sang. He gave LEO some hell in his day, but did alot of charity and county music lol Quote

Hooked_On_Bass Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 One of the greats! He will be missed. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted April 29, 2013 Super User Posted April 29, 2013 Not a fan of country music, but he was my parents favorite for as long as I can remember. You have to admire his zest to live life. You can tell things were not right in the video for Aaron Lewis's Country Boy. May he rest in peace. Quote
