basslovr Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I have heard a lot of stories about Rodman Reservoir and how good the fishing is. So I decided that I am going to finally find out for myself...anybody have any information that would be willing to share to make a believer out of me. It's a bit of a drive for me from Clearwater, so I would like to make it worth my while....Thank you in advance for any tips on promising areas. I fish from a kayak and so my range of distance is rather limited once I get on the water. Thanks again. Quote
Ktedz Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I've fished Rudman quite a few times since i live I'm ocala, its full of stumps and most of the people out there fish with shiners. Bounce some crankbaits and spinnerbaits off those stumps and throw plastics in watermelon red and watermelon seed colors. My personal favorites are the kvd red eye shad in sexy shad color, a white/red spinnerbait, and watermelon red trick worms with a 1/8oz bullet weight. Tight lines! Quote
