Bass Dude Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I seem to be getting a lot of interference or noise on the downscan from about 0-15 feet of water. All the settings I see are for the Sonar, not the downscan. Anyone know how to get rid of this? Quote
Todd Driscoll Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Please post a screenshot of the interference and a pic of your LSS transducer mount. Your problem could be electrical interference, surface clutter, or beam kickback related to your ducer mount, but can't help further without pics. Quote
Bass Dude Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 Does water clarity have anything to do with the quality of the image? The wind was blowing and the water was dingy. I'll get you a screen shot and a pic of the 'ducer when I can. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Is the "interference" with the trolling motor on or off? Yes wind and current can stir things up and cause the sonar pic to look speckles. Quote
susky killer Posted May 2, 2013 Posted May 2, 2013 I had alot of surface clutter on my unit as well until I played with the sensitivity. I have it set at 50 (may be a little higher, can't remember) but it was at 80. Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 There is no sensitivety adjustment on down and side scan, only on 2d. Quote
