Diggy Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 A buddy came in from out of town for the weekend and he wanted to catch some South Florida game fish. Here a are a few pics of what we caught. I also taped him catching his 1st snake in the bottom pic. You'll hear my exciting commentary on the shaky video. One of the most amazing things was having a Mayan Cichlid swallow my spro frog, 1st time catching one on a frog. We caught a ton of fish combined, there was 3 of us. We all landed a bass over 4lbs. One of my other buddies(not pictured) had a bass hit his frog like a freight train, it was unbelievably loud, definitely the hardest hit of the weekend. Hope you guys enjoy the pics n vids. Ill try to upload the rest once I get them off of my old phone. 1 Quote

Thanks, you'll probably have to make a trip to South Fla like my buddy did. I was happy I was able to put him on some good fish. It was also his 1st pea. I hope to repeat the process again this weekend. He didn't realize the snakehead got so big and came down here with a medium 3pc rod and 10lb braid and some leader material. Not Ideal for where we were fishing but it ended up working out for him. Next time he will spool 30lb min. My other friend got part of my fight on camera, but his iPhone ended up full, what a bummer. His video quality was much better than mine. Youtube actually made it look worse because it was 720p but only shows 480 on youtube. Quote

Diggy Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 Nice work. Looks like a great day!! It was, thanks! All of these fish in the same waters? I want to move there!!!! Yeah, thats the beauty of certain parts of South Florida if you like to fish. You can see all of these huddled up together living happily. Theres also your normal panfish, tilapia. snook, tarpon and other crazy aquarium tank invasive in the water. Then theres saltwater not even 20 mins away. Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted April 24, 2013 Super User Posted April 24, 2013 All very nice fish...congrats! Quote
