BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 20, 2013 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 20, 2013 This morning Taylor and I went out and everything was normal for a while. Then the TM started going on and off every two seconds or so like a breaker was cycling. So I bypassed my breaker near the batteries and it worked fine for a little while then started again. It does it on momentary when you hold the switch and continuous. After a few minutes of messing around it seems to have quit completely. Any ideas before I take it off and to the MG shop and wait weeks to get it back? Quote
Super User slonezp Posted April 20, 2013 Super User Posted April 20, 2013 Did you pull the prop and check for fishing line? Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 21, 2013 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 21, 2013 Nope. Does it have an internal high heat switch? I will check it in the morning. Quote
win222 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I would check all your battery connections, even if they appear tight and clean, this is a common problem. I would take apart all connections, clean them, and then re-connect them. If that doesnt help, check if your TM has a plug, and take the plug and receptacle apart and check all those connections too. Did all that. It is a switch opening and closing. It is too consistent to be corrosion. The thermal protection fits the symptoms exactly. Quote
