130+. I stopped counting. It was a 35acre impoundment, a flooded woods that had never been fished. And the bass were stunted. Almost all were 9 to 10" long and very thin, the biggest were around 15". That very winter it winter-killed with thousands dead, including about a half dozen short and very fat 3-4lbers. The following spring I was only able to catch a handful of bass. Within a few years later I was catching numbers of healthy 2lbers.

Well, now that I feel like my manhood has been stripped, 10-15 bass.

No loss of manhood if they all were over 5lbs.

I'm with you. Mine was 13. None were even 2lbs.

25 or so. I fish for big fish so I don't count dinks. I always tell my brother he catches so many he knows the dinks by name. He's a numbers guy while I'm a quality fish guy.

Pond- 100+

Lake- Kerr Lake 6/27/2008 -49 for me and 64 for my partner. That was a day that i will never forget. And the weights were decent. There were more dinks than hogs but either of us would have weighed in 25+ lbs if it was a tourney day. My best day on the water ever. I remember the exact number because i was one shy of 50.

Not bass but i remember a day back in 2006 on the Chesapeke bay when my old fishing partner (deseased now) and I caught almost 100 Flounder!! I think our total was 96 not sure tho.

..and thats a big deal, because ive had some very rough days out there flounder fishing and everything came together that day for us!

My average day on Lake Erie prespawn is probably 5-10 fish. I have had a few magical days where the numbers went way up and included good quality with good quantity.

Haha I feel your pain. I thought catching 11 the other day in a pond with only fishing 2 hours was good. Not so much now.

Me and my dad went to my stepbrothers(2) cubscout camping trip up in the mountains an I caught 22-25 largemouth in one day. All were a pound to a pound and a half. Me and my dad totaled 47 those two days we were there. I was using spooks in the morning and at night and super flukes during the day. And we only fished 1 half of the lake. It was private by the way. No boat, all from shoreline.

Its not uncommon to catch 50+ 1-2lbers with a half a dozen in the 3-4# range thrown in during the summer on lake okeechobee when they school up. I usually have 1-2 of these days a year. My best is 74 in one day.

Lake St Clair last year it was insane.  Every cast we would catch 1-2 whites depending on lure used.  I'd guess we boated around 200.

My buddy and I once hit pay dirt and caught over 130 bass.  For awhile it was so hot, if a bass threw our bait, another would often jump on it.  They were mostly cookie cutter bass around a pound and a half apiece but we were nearly worn out before the bite stopped.
