Super User Teal Posted April 17, 2013 Super User Posted April 17, 2013 Normally during December, while they are out of season, they walk right out in front of my stand while im hunting and run out front of my truck on the way home. Durring the summer, they are walking down the highway like hitch hikers. Once turkey season comes around in April, I can not find them anywhere. Quote

Hang outside a popular bar some weekend. During the day, the place will likely look like a ghost town. During the evening and nighttime hours, you will see all sorts of males and females in various stages of courting ritual. LOL Bar = woods Male/female patrons = Turkeys Spring = Night time = The right time Just like bucks running around crazy during the rut, this is the turkeys' time to do their thing. Quote
jhoffman Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Turkeys follow the food, a slave to their stomach Quote
