Wow, dude. Japan visit on my bucket list. Not just for sushi, but to oogle over the JDM fishing gear from Shimano and Daiwa, and whatever other brands they've kept secret from us.

Very nice  :eyebrows:  Let us know how you do with that Boil Trigger!  The Big Bats are stunning baits, and a very cool concept as well!

What were the prices like compared to the equivalent USDM baits?

Very nice stuff. How much was the siglett in dollars? it looks pretty cool and do the wings on it seem pretty solid? I was in japan about 6 years. ago and wish I was into bass fishing then.

Congrats on your new gear...while looking did you see any of these.

No Maico I don't recall seeing any that looked like those. I could have walked by them though because I wasn't looking at anything inparticular.

The zcrank and siglett were 1040y ($11) they were on sale

The boil trigger and some others I couldn't post were 1780y ($20)

It seems like they pretty much run hand and hand with what you see in the US. But just like home if you are willing to spend some time and look good deals can be had.

I saw an revo LTX for ($190). Some scorpions for $120. There was a used one like hooked on bass avatar that was $140 and the shimano I basically stole.

Yea the wings are remarkably solid. I was hesitant at first because of that but when I got it home and started

messing with it I can see that they should hold up really well.

Have you seen any of the big Deps swimbaits over there?  The 250 Slide Swimmer to be exact.

We just got our Megabass order at the store here in Canada, included we're bunch of Sigletts. They look very interesting! I wonder how the wings will hold up in the long run!

Which store is this, DirtNasty?

SAIL

Thanks!

The SAIL down the road from me has a pretty decent selection, but doesn't stock Megabass. I may see if they'll bring in from another store.

My apologies OP, didn't intend to hijack.

They had some big swim baits and I think some were deps but I can't be sure it was that particular one. Seem like they ran $80-90

No problem, sounds like you are going to get some good stuff!

They have those siglets on TW now. I just ordered some stuff yesterday and was considering buying one. I saw a video maybe a few years ago of a guy in Japan fishing it. They also have those Roman Mother swim baits on TW with the most expensive one being like $400+ for the biggest one!!!!
