boogie Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Hey guys, rented a cottage from that area the 2nd week of July and was wondering what the fishing at that time of year is like ? They do have canoes and kayaks, but I think I will bring my boat down. Any info. would be greatly appreciated ! Also, is there a guide service close by ? Thx Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Fishing on Champlain can be pretty good that time of year. Dillenback and Missisqoui bay are pretty good spots. They tend too school up that time of year. If you find a school you can catch an insane amount of fish. One hundred bass days are possible. Tabor point is another spot that you could try. Stick to Champlain you won't be dissapointed. Quote
Super User webertime Posted April 17, 2013 Super User Posted April 17, 2013 Gilbert Gagner is a great local guide in the area, or Nehad Basic (Google them). Bring your boat and I'll hook you up with some waypoints. I live just south of Swanton. Quote
