I've had good success with the ez flouro by spider wire from Walmart. A friend had bad experiences with vanish so that was enough to get me away.

I used Vanish for awhile fun fishing, but yesterday i used it in my tournament and broke off 5 times on hooksets, never again...

My experience with it on the 3 different occasions I've used it over the years: The only thing that Vanishes are the fish and lures.

i used it today. didnt have a problem with casting or knot strength. i still dont trust it though. so far so good. i even got snagged a couple of times and didnt break off or anything. i did notice my line was frayed a bit at the end of the day so ima have to cut and retie.

Bad it makes me want to pull my teeth out. It is coming off of my reels and is being replaced with seaguar or 100% flouro by berkley which is awesome.

I AM NOT SHURE WHAT PROBLEMS PEOPLE ARE HAVING WITH THIS LINE .

I MYSELF HAVE USED IT FOR MORE THAN 8 YEARS . I HAVE IT ON ALLMOST ALL

MY COMBOS . I PERSONANLY HAVE NEVER LOST A FISH OR BROKE OF A LURE

THAT WAS NOT MY OWN FAULT. IN MY OPINION IT IS VERY CASTABLE HAS THE

LOWEST MEMORY OF ANY FLOURACARBON I KNOW I TRIED MANY TYPES BEFORE

GOING TO VANISH.WITH THAT SAID IT DOES WORK VERY WELL FOR ME THATS JUST

MY OPINION.

I know this line gets alot of hate but I used the 14lb For flukes with no problems.  That being said, based on the number of reviews, I am sure I got more lucky than anything.  Now I have moved on to higher end Fluoro's and wouldn't go back to Vanish.

It is still better than Stren Fluorocast or Spiderwire EZ Fluoro

I will like to know if the people that have the line in all their combos like Hollisray have actually tried a good flourocarbon like seaguar(i love this lines and I love them even more now that they sponsor br)??

Can you guys compare it to a good brand?

I use nothing but Seaguar in the fluro.lines and Sufix in mono. and the Sufix 832 for Braid!!

Sorry to say but that is the worse line Ive ever used. Not that I've used 20+ lines before either. It was just frustrating, especially on my spinning reel. For BC it was a bit more manageable and seemed to get a bit better over time. I'll never try it again lol.

garbage.  used vanish 12 pound test one time cause its all i could find at walmart.  Threw a heavy crankbait and the line just snapped 4 inches above the knot.  Inspected the line and noticed it had a ton of stretch.  Anyone ever felt Cajun red line.  It has a crazy amount of stretch as well.  it is garbage too.

The worst garbage I have ever used, extremely brittle with TERRIBLE knot strength, even though I lube the knot like with all fluoro. I go with P - Line 100% fluoro. Memory isn't too bad, plenty strong, and good knot strength.
