Mace Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I have been wondering the same thing , they look like something I would like too try, just wish they made a left hand model. Any info would be great. How about their rods as well Quote
PondBoss Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I'm home from my tournament, and spent, but I always have a minute or two to discuss a great product. What would you guys like to know? Unfortunately a left handed model is not in the works as of the classic, but was a topic of discussion. The rods are second to none i all categories. Light weight, sensitive, and strong as an ox. Here is a video I shot during the 2013 Classic from the Pinnacle Booth, if you have any specific questions feel free to ask me. Quote

Awesome, i was just wondering how it was with lightweight baits such as flukes and senkos, can it fling them out there pretty far, as thats what im looking for in a new reel. Thanks,David Quote
PondBoss Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 David, I won't quote any distances, but today while fishing a fluke, I could easily fish the front of the boat from the back if that makes sense. The real key to getting super long cats with these reels is to not force it. If you sure smooth with your delivery and let the rod and reel work for you, I think you will very impressed with the speed, smoothness, and distance you will see in these reels. Quote

motodmast Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Did you end up getting the new LTE? Yes i did, looks and feels great so far. I just got it yesterday lol. But i will ad you on fb and write a review on pinnacles page mentioning you helped me out Quote
PondBoss Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Awesome, I'm glad you like the way it looks and feels. Once you get it dialed in you'll love the way it works as well. Just remember, (that to me anyways) to cast smoothly, the spool is so fast you can get into trouble trying to force more out of it. Quote

motodmast Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 Have you had a chance to try out the reel yet? I am considering getting one. Really looks nice. yes i have, it performs very well. i have it paired with 15lb red label and can cast a senko pretty far, and absoutly bomb a 3-8oz jig. lots of adjustments, strong drag, its real comfortable after a days of fishing with it.and the flipping switch is nice too. overall id give it a 10/10. its a darn good reel for the price 1 Quote
