hi  how can i cast light lures, like 1/8 oz and 1/6 oz real easy on a baitcasting setup? and any recommendations for a spinning setup for casting these weights? thanks in advance

I don't even try to cast anything lighter than 3/16 on a baitcaster.  You're just asking for a headache.  Spinning tackle is the way to go IMO for stuff that light.

You can do it under the right conditions but you will get much better results with spinning gear.

I have a 6' light power bc rod and a BPS ProLite bc reel and throw down to 1/6oz on 8lb mono (and I may try 6lb on this rig someday). Otherwise, IMO spinning gear is the way to go when you're under 1/4oz.
