Went out Sunday to fish; it's been a long dreadful winter for me. Anyways I had a new spinning reel and hooked into a great fish. Since the reel was new I had the drag pretty lose. Long story short hook into a big smallie zzzzziiiiiiippppppp she's gone. I was heart broken. Not only did I lose a great fish it would have been my first of 2013. I was depressed.

Went back today made sure the drag was nice and tight and here are the results. First fish of 2013.

Very nice.  That first one is a bit of a toad, isn't she?  Did you get a weight on her?
