Bamajoker Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 What are some good lure to fish with at night, I've had success with black and blue jigs but what else. Spinners? topwater? Quote
Steven Ladner Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Went last night for the first time this season with plenty of shallow water success. I stayed with 2 lures all night: 1. Rage Tail Space Monkey T-Rig W/ 1/8oz Weight 2. Strike King Double Take Buzzbait I didn't fish with the most famous topwater lure since the other 2 were doing so well...But you can not go wrong with an Arbogast Jitterbug, this bait is second to none. But change out the hooks that come with the Jetterbug they are junk. I fish the Jetterbug around deep docks, weedlines, points, ect. This is one of the all time great night topwater baits ever made and still is! Quote

kikstand454 Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 jitterbug. its insane. buzzbait where you cant throw the jitterbug. topwater toads where cant throw the buzzbait. big t-rigged worms, paddletails. like said before... most anything youd throw during the day... Quote
Big-O Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 1) Big Black Spinnerbaits with #5 minimum Colorado (use trailer hook) 2) 10" Annie or Thumper 3) Rattlin' Jig w/Lobster trailer 4)Rage Shad on top...big noise and can throw it in any type of water without getting fouled up. Can also use weighted hook on it and C rig it for deep cranking in front of mossbeds much like a spinnerbait or swimbait yet smaller profile and moves more water. 5) hard to beat a jitterbug in still or low wind conditions Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Bamajoker Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 black jitterbug and black buzzbait i have never used either of these lures, where would you fish them. also ive read the hook suck on the jitterbug what to replace them with. Quote
