Zoff Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 A while back, someone asked me to post my fish tank. I just got around to uploading a vid. In it are Largemouth, Bluegill, crayfish (in hiding), a Green Sunfish, and food (the goldfish). So... let's see your tanks... Here's mine... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDITmKqdHVc&feature=youtu.be 1 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted April 8, 2013 Super User Posted April 8, 2013 I'm likin' this the best! No really, I did aquariums back in the day. Too much work. We do snakes, turtles, Russian tortoises these days... Quote
Scorcher214 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 I would love to have a tank with a few bass in it. So do you plan on releasing them at all if they get too big? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted April 8, 2013 Super User Posted April 8, 2013 I'm likin' this the best! No really, I did aquariums back in the day. Too much work. We do snakes, turtles, Russian tortoises these days... I used to have a 30 gal.aquarium in my house. Little fishies, creepy crawlys, petty colored rocks, vegetation, lights, hidey holes, ect. Came home from work one day and the whole front had exploded, tiny chips of glass, dead fish and stuff everywhere and nice colored stains on my light beige carpet. Say NO to aquariums. Quote

Comfortably Numb Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Nice Zoff. What size tank? I have five tanks with Central and South American Cichlids. Used to have a 150 gal with a 2 pound bass in it. I would actually catch him with a a rod and reel and lure in the tank LOL Quote
Super User Shane J Posted April 8, 2013 Super User Posted April 8, 2013 Wayne, is your tank named Briary Creek, by chance? Quote

When (if) they hit a size too big for the tank, out they go and start over. Quote

Super User Hi Salenity Posted April 10, 2013 Super User Posted April 10, 2013 This was a couple months ago? It always amazes me looking back at the older pics and thinking how much bigger the corals are now. They truly grow like weeds! This is from Today ,It's raining outside and I think this is the laziest pic I've ever taken. 1 Quote
Zoff Posted April 11, 2013 Author Posted April 11, 2013 is there any tricks to keeping bass alive compared to regular store fish cus i heard its hard? help cus i want to do this I just started with really clean water and added rocks from the creek and a little water from the pond. Gave it a week to stabilize than added the fish. Just have to give it a basic cleaning every week and a thorough one every month. Bass crap a lot. This was a couple months ago?
