Super User Catt Posted May 4, 2010 Super User Posted May 4, 2010 Oldham Lures, Inc Trailer Hitch Jigs, these jigs have a 5/0 Gamakatu Round Bend Flipping Hook (black chrome) specially designed and produced for Oldham Jigs. These jigs are equipped with the Screwlock attachment on the hook shank. This feature holds the soft plastic trailers in place while it positions them securely, preventing the trailers from interfering with the hook point. Favorite color and trailer, Black/Blue with either a Gene Larew or Rage Tail trailer Favorite weight depends on type of cover and denseness of cover Quote

soopd Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 I have just recently started using jigs. I have had a ton of success on Strike King Bitsy Bug 1/4 0z and 3/16 oz. I have been using a sappire blue swimming chunk as the trailer and I have caught a ton of fish. I caught a 3lb smallmouth on a black one with a blue trailer yesterday. It seems easier to get the fish hooked with these smaller jigs. Quote
