Fish Man Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 ok well imma big fan of blue fox fishing lures an im confused on why they havent released there new stuff yet...in my mind i would think they would try to get it out about now so its on shelves before most guys get out on the water....however at this rate it seems we will be dun the spawn by the time they release anything....but i do believe i saw some usky stuff in a cabelas catalog but nothing on cabelas or blure fox's website's....id like to here yall's thoughts Quote
Super User T-rig Posted March 20, 2007 Super User Posted March 20, 2007 I dont like fox lures and most other fisheman probably either. That's most likely why they're not coming out with new lures. They do make some ok inline spinners for trout but that's about it. Quote
Shad_Master Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Well now, I disagree there T-rig -- these little baits will catch bass under the right conditions -- they are certainly not as predictable as the larger lures and more likely to pull up a blue gill or cappie, but they will catch bass. Why don't they have new lures? -- not a clue. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted March 20, 2007 Super User Posted March 20, 2007 As far as I know, Blue Fox lures are used more for trout and musky. That being said, I would think they would come out before trout and musky seasons which from my understanding are late fall, winter, and summer. (As far as I know, I don't fish for musky or trout though so I could be mistaken) Quote
Garnet Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I reccomemd you never use a #3 Blue fox inline spinner on a smallie lake unless you want your line strecthed Garnet Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 21, 2007 Super User Posted March 21, 2007 I agree with the consensus. I don't really care for them and they seem to be more for muskie and trout. Quote
Fish Man Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 these lures are probably one of my 2 "go to lures"...the only ones that work for me is the foxtails Quote
