Super User *Hootie Posted April 5, 2013 Super User Posted April 5, 2013 I know everyone uses football jigs around rocks. So is football jigs around wood impractical? I know there are other options for wood i.e., brush jigs etc., but I'm just curious about the footballs. Thanks, Hootie Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 For me it works ok but there are better options out there. The Brush head is my absolute favorite for trees! Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 5, 2013 Super User Posted April 5, 2013 You want to use the brush head style or rocker/arky style with wood. They both sit hook up at the bottom. The rocker/arky style adds a "kick out" when it collides with wood that often triggers strikes. Other times they want it more subtle. Quote

Great, I have some brush jigs, and arky styles coming from Siebert today. Just checked package tracking, and it says they are out for delivery. Should be here within the hour. Hootie 1 Quote
