I just ordered a pair. I'll let you know when they get here, and I have had a chance to use them. FWIW, I always thought their "cheap" 19.99 glasses were great. I have never been one to spend much money on glasses because I am always losing them, breaking them, or what not. So $40 is a big leap for me LOL.

Do they have a model that fits over glasses. I use the Cocoons , and they work decent, but do have some inner glare.

Im in the same boat. Ive used a $20 pair from Cabelas for 3 seasons. Served me well but have a lot of scratches and the frame paint is all worn off.

I got a pair 2 weeks ago for 29.99. They work just as we'll as 300$ plus for 30$ if they fall in the lake I don't care.

I got a pair in amber and they're great!

I also have a $20 pair of SKs I've had for a year. I am not at all impressed with the $20 pair

Nah, doesn't look like it. would buy them if they did though. Would like to see an OTG model, as the technology behind the S11s seems pretty neat. I too have a pair of cocoons (XL aviators) but they were ridiculously annoying. They also looked ridiculous   Always were falling off when I looked down a bit. Ended up purchasing a $20 pair of OTGs at Gander mtn. They fit like a glove but have not tried them for fishing.

I got my glasses today. Obviously I haven't gotten a chance to use them on the water but so far they look and feel great.  The plastic frames are tinge on the flimsy side for my liking to be 100% honest, but it is a $40 pair of glasses. I got the S11 Atlantic black frames with Amber lenses.

Surprised more people don't wear Oakley. I have some Batwolfs that are polarized and a day out on the water with those is amazing.

I just recieved a pair, and I love them. They actually fit my face which I was worried about, but most importantly it's like walking arond viewing HD. Plan to use them yesterday on the water, but it was so cloudy that they made everything too dark.

I, like a lot of people, don't want to pay the high prices of sunglasses.  Not that they aren't worth it, but glasses are easily crushed, left behind, dropped in the lake, etc... So I choose to go cheaper so that if I destroy mine, it's not a big deal.  Ironically, every cheap pair I own last an eternity.  Every decent pair I've ever had, I've broken or are in a lake.

I got mine the other day, and yesterday was the perfect day on the water to test them out. Sunny, calm, and gin clear water down to 12' or so. I had my $20 pair with me too, and the difference was night and day. There were no bass up shallow (that were out in plain sight), but tons of walleye, so I was just putting along looking. With the $20 pair I could see the fish, see the weeds, see dark vs. light bottom. With the S11's I could see individual zebra mussle shells on the bottom in 10 + FOW, and the shallower I went..........off the chart detail compared to what I could see with the $20 pair, I could even see a few walleye that I would have never known were there with the other pair. I'd have to say it was $40 well spent. Now I can't wait till the SM hit the beds in a couple weeks, hopefully the stars will line up, and I will get a chance to be there on a couple nice clear calm days to look at them.

I purchased a pair of the amber lenses.  I will be trying them out the next 2 Sunday's.  I have a 2 day tournament at the end of this month and I will be able to give more of my experience then.

Where are you guys getting the model names?  I've looked at TW and SK.com and all I see are numbers?

I don't know what they are talking about either. The ones with "names" are the $20 glasses. The S11's are all numbered from what I can tell. I got the S11 63's.

No. The S11 all have name references as well. You can see some at Cabelas website. Here  These are what I got from an Ebay store.

Ahhh.............I see what they did, named them after lakes and such. I got mine from TW they just have them labeled by #, same as the SK website. I guess I got the Eufaula glasses AKA the S11 63. I didn't notice if they were named on the box, I'll have to go look.

Yup, I'm an idiot, LOL it say right on the right "ear piece" of the glasses that they are the Eufaula model. Neither the tag or the plastic bag they came in says anything about it though.

Mine are officially tournament tested now.

I took my S11's out on my Pike tournament this past weekend (Lake Champlain).  I also brought my old glasses with me to compare/contrast what I can see.  It was a night and day difference between the two.

When fishing submerged grass I was able to see it much, much farther out than with my old glasses.  I also compared them to the costa's my partner was wearing and there was a marginal difference between the S11's.  Not worth the over $100 price tag IMHO.

I am SO glad I bought these.

Made me feel so much more confident with what I was throwing over those weeds.  Namely because I could see them soo much better.   :eyebrows:

I officially tested mine last weekend and the same results. I had a cheap pair of Cabelas glasses and the difference was amazing. Very happy I got these and I will continue to at the price point they are. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone in the market for new shades. Great to be able to see all the holes in weed bogs and edges.

I have had some since Jan of this year and love mine. Glad they are reasonably priced too.

Love seeing the follow-up reviews. I just lost my shades in the ocean but I have had them since '96 so I can't complain. How do these fit on the face? My face is pretty narrow, for reference, my old shades were oakley jackets and they fit well, they were not polarized though as they were pre fishing days.
