This rig has been around for along time! Great in the fall and early spring or whenever baitfish school up.

First saw a Double Fluke rig a quite a few years ago on Guntersville. They are right, it's entertaining as hell to fish and watch.

I never seen it before but nothing surprises me. In the days before depth finders we would often look for hidden crappie beds by putting a weight on a line and attaching a leader about 2 ft long made out of 6 lb test line with a single hook on the end. We would cast this around until we snagged a hidden brush pile and just break it off. I have caught bass on the bare hook on a few occasions doing that. My dad used to say a good fisherman can catch fish on his false teeth if he wants to. That's so true. It's not the lure its your concentration, confidence and experience with the lure that does it.

Just try this rig, like I said it is a killer in the spring when they are on beds too. I have used paddle tail swimbaits, lizards, fin. worms, and the big Paca craw on the Donkey rig.But these baits don't have the same crazy darting action as a fluke but it works!
