JellyMan Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 So I'm not from the north. I grew up in Florida. The ice had been out for 2 days and the lake has filled up. Water has got to be in the 30's. I would love to get out today. We have 50 degree temps and sunshine. How should I approach this? Deep water? Shallow? Finesse jigs? Slow crank baits? I'm itching to fish BAD and I'de like to get at least a few fish today. EDIT: I just went to check out the lake. There is still ice around. It's going to be a solid month before its ready to fish. By that time I will be back in Florida. I give up. Quote
