Backwoodsbasser Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 New summer home this year in tuftenboro just when I got to know my old spot at umbrella point In wolfeboro we move. Anyways the new spot is on Barber Pole. Over by cow island I will be targeting small mouth. Who knows the area what works baits presentations. I need as much help as I can get. I do have navionics hotmap as well has hotspots fishing maps to dissect the contours and topo. What's the bottom like over there? Quote
NBR Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Just find points leading from deep into spawning areas. Winni has so much great smallie water it is hard to go wrong. Send me a PM if you would like! Quote
jaystraw Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 The bottom is rocks, rocks and more rocks. Dark brown bottom with extremely clear water. Green pumpkin senkos cannot go wrong at Winni, spinnerbaits, tubes...usual smallie stuff. I'll be up there in May for a couple days at Newfound hitting the smallies. I may go over to Winni on my last day. Quote
WFFL Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I have a friend who lives in Moultonboro and never had too much luck bass fishing till he switched over to plastic crawfish. Fish those rocky areas with crawfish and you should do well. Quote
