Anyone have any first hand experience or positive feedback to share on either of these?

I'd like to see what kind of action they might have, but can't find any video referencing the baits under water. Looking at them they just don't look like they move well in the water...am I wrong?

I havent fished the mighty bug but i have the sallemander and i have had 0% luck on it. I dont know why because the action doesnt seem bad, but i can put it down and pick up a zoom lizard and get bit every time.

I like the mighty bug. I fish it like a brush hog/beaver, usually t-rigging it or sometimes putting it on a shaky head.  I bought some salleemanders this weekend, have not yet gotten to try them out.

I literally just bought 2 packs of the Sallemander from Wally World for $3.  Looking to give them a try this weekend.

Yea that whole Walmart thing got me too. I walked by and looked at what there was being offered the other day, nothing caught my eye. Of course I didnt have any $$$ on me at the time.I picked through the remaining soft plastics offered today and got 1 bag each size and color of the Mighty Bug, and the last Bag of Sallemanders they had.Bait Monkey just couldn't resist.

Ive tried and tried but can not catch anything on the salamander, i can throw the rage lizard right behind it and hook one.

Had a bag of the might bugs... not a bad lure. But there are other similar baits that i have more confidence in

I've caught some fish on the mighty bug.

They were on clearance at the end of last season.

They will work just fine.

I've had some luck on Mighty Bugs.  They are smaller and their action is a bit more subtle than many other creature-type baits, but it did work.  I used them on a jig head around docks.

Try fishing it around weed beds on the surface and get those legs working.
