Doug Hannon (aka The Bass Professor) has passed away. God Speed Doug.

Yes, we heard about it yesterday, although I'm still waiting on verification.  He was a long time contributor here, and even had his own section on the forums for awhile here.

I remember watching him on TV when I was a little kid and learned a lot from him. RIP Bass Professor.

A true innovator of are great hobby. Also a long time resident of my State.

 

RIP Doug thanks for all the knowledge past down throughout the years.

I too remember watching him as a kid, thought the underwater video was awesome.

Has anyone seen anything "official" on this yet? I'd hate to think it was an "April-fools" joke of some demented kind! Have yet to any obit.

I feel for his family, losing a loved one is never easy, especially on/around a holiday, it's a wound that cuts deep for many years to come on what otherwise should be a happy time......... may you R.I.P. Mr. Hannon.
