backwater4 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 3 questions, actually... Anybody like the Keitech Swing Impacts? Do you just rig them on a wide gap tx style, like a fluke? And finally, how about the Gamagatsu Skip Gap hooks? Thanks. Quote
senko_77 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Don't have an answer on the Keitech baits, but I have played with the Skip Gap quite a bit. It's a great hook for times when you need a wide gap hook. I don't throw wide gaps much but when I do, I'm skipping and I use the Skip Gaps. It really holds the bait on there nice and you can skip as hard as you can and it usually won't slide down if the bait isn't torn up to bad. Quote
backwater4 Posted May 3, 2010 Author Posted May 3, 2010 Thanks, I was really interested in the way the hook works. I was catching fish on a fluke yesterday, but after a few casts it was riding down the hook. I think I'll try some skip gaps. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted May 3, 2010 Super User Posted May 3, 2010 try some Owner twist lock hooks , your bait will not slide down the hook any more !!! if they don't have a big enough gap , try the Owner beast hooks , there are weighted and unweighted versions ... Quote
backwater4 Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 Thanks, I was looking at those also. Decisions. Quote
