Went to local Walmart last night and found an end cap with some blue cardboard bins chocked full of new lures. All the lures were Lurenet.com baits (Bomber, Rebel, Heddon,YUM,Cotton Cordell, Arbogast and Lazy Ike.) I'm sure I'm missing some brands.

All baits were marked $1.50 each. For those of you who bargain hunt for tackle this is an awesome deal...be on the lookout!!!

I saw that too. I think my favorite thing I got there was a small white rebel Wee-R squarebill.  I got a few to customize with some sharpie

I don't know what all YUM baits were offered originally in this deal, but my WalMart only really has the mighty bug remaining. The Hsrd baits, well dang thetes a huge assortment, and for the price...you can't go wrong.

Hmmm. I passed by a similar bin at my Walmart the other day. Quick glance and I didn't see some that you mentioned. Perhaps next glance should be extended...

I was at mine today no such deals like that. I did score a box of trilene 100% fluorocarbon for $5.00.

I went to two walmarts and i had to search one of them. They had Yum Money Hounds and Money Frogs and Mighty Craws too. Thats what I ended up getting most of, but I like the nice little Rebel Square bills

In N. WI I was in Wally World today and didn't see even any of the plastics mentioned on sale.. Got some gammy 3/0 EWG hooks a 5pk for 2.50 though. And other misc hooks..

Mine might have been the mother load.

Yum Money Hounds and frogs,Roughly 100 Rebel squarebills. 100 Pop-r's. Tons of TINY Cotton Cordell cranks and various rooster tails, weights, some weird senko type stick baits, Yum Wooly bugs.

What did I walk away with? 5 Chart/white 3/8 oz War Eagle Spinnerbaits. 1.50 each. Never fished War eagle but I know many of you like them. Too good to pass up given the reputation even though I have too many spinnerbaits already.

Everything in all 3 bins were 1.50.

When I see those bombers I gobble them up, I believe the MSRP is $2.99.  I have caught countless numbers of bass and snook on them, just as many as xraps.  The hooks are not the best, when they need replacement I only use a 4x treble, any brand as long as it's 4x. Some of my bombers are so banged up I don't even know what color they originally were, the fish don't seem to mind they don't look new anymore.  I do miss the Renegade brand lures the Walmart used to sell.

I got a bunch of Cotton Cordell and Bombers the other night.  There were still some real nice ones in there.

I got two heddon zara puppy.

Im gonna run out right now. Hopefully my local store has some goodies. At $1.50 a pop, I plan on making a nice haul. I will fill all the empty spots on my boxes, ready for the year.

I grabbed a bunch of the Yum Mighty Bugs and a weird shaped lizard call the Salleemander - it looked interesting.

I passed up the Money Frog and Money hounds, they just looked too silly for me.  I used to have some baits similar to the money hound and they did not work at all.

I also got a few Hula Poppers too. For a buck fifty, you almost can't go wrong. Will head out again later for round two...

Just went to another walmart and found 6 packs of yum Houdini Shad 1.50 each.

Went to my walmart today and they had the bait bonaza going and it was 2.50 a lure I picked up 4 zara spook jr's,2 bomber jerk baits and a couple creek chub topwaters.

Just got back from my Wally with some clearance items. 2 jerk baits, 2 top water jerk baits, 2 poppers, and 3 crank baits. All the YUM products were nothing of interest to me. I would rather buy my producing baits and keep all the "excess" out of my life.

Oh and not on sale, I got a KVD Sexy Frog, new Berkley multi tool, and a Berkley digital scale.

Pretty good for $48 bucks!

Snagged some very hard to find Yum Salamanders in a Bream color.  Fun to fish for bargains.   :eyebrows:
