I know they are almost the same except for the legs. I just thought I would get some input on these two baits. I did pick up the crazy legs in the Bream color and the Chigger in black/blue fleck.Do you guys like one over the other?

I perfer the regular chigger craw as a trailer and t rigged. Dont really use the other one

I use both, typically I use the crazy legs when I am in weeds with a soft botom texas rigged peged with at most a 1/8 oz bullet. I use the regular on hard bottom t- rigged with a 1/4 oz bullet pegged.  If i had to pick just one the regular chigger would be the one it is a great craw bait. the crazylegs is a good bait also but there are many creature baits out there that will do a better job ie. zoom brush hog and baby brush hog.

I've used the regular chigger craw on a jig with modest results.  The only thing I've used the crazy legs chigger craw for was on a bubba drop shot rig. On 2 different trips (not consecutive) it saved the day, post spawn, early summer and mid summer.  Fish were 5 to 8 feet down, on the shady side of stumps & bushes   Who knows what all the different factors at play were.  I threw beavers, chompers, Larew crawdads, flukes & fluke imitators, but the crazy legs chigger craw out fished the other baits by a bunch.  By the way, the color of the day was green pumpkin party.  That breen color hasn't ever worked for me.

I've noticed that the panfish are highly attracted to the Crazy Legs. It's irritating, so I won't be buying any more of those.

Hijack alert

I want to try the Chigger Quad. Its got the curly claws. I had alot of success on the Case Plastics curly craw..and twin tail grubs... i think its the action that it gives off.

I like the regular ones better as someone mentioned the panfish like to bite off the crazy legs.

I like to use both of them. I really the the Crazy Legs Chigger Craw as the water gets warmer and the regular Chigger Craw when the water is on the cooler side.

I use both religiously. The crazy legs are just good for days when you want a longer presentation, or a little more movement. Doesn't make a ton of a difference, but we all know how a subtle change can turn the bite on.
