Bk4 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Went to Dick Sporting Good and got a tube of megastrike and was wondering if it will work for other species beside LMB. Such as trout, panfish, and striper. Quote
Super User rockchalk06 Posted March 29, 2013 Super User Posted March 29, 2013 Good question. Bobby Uhrig will be by here soon to answer though. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted March 29, 2013 Super User Posted March 29, 2013 I've caught Salmon and Northern Pike on jigs with MegaStrike. Quote
georgeyew Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 The original scent should work with various species of fish. Quote
Bassfishing375 Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Yep, it works for all types of species. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted March 31, 2013 Super User Posted March 31, 2013 I don't know, but I use it on everything that isn't already scented. I have watched bluegills in shallow, clear water pick up a bait with megastrike on it and not let go until I have reeled them all the way back to the boat. Quote
shootermcbob Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 I also think it works, and works very well. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted March 31, 2013 Super User Posted March 31, 2013 It's particularly good when the bite is tough. Just after ice out and it's helping me catch bass already up north. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 31, 2013 Super User Posted March 31, 2013 Whether it's the MegaStrike or not, I've caught a number of species with it. JJ's Magic, too. Used to dip all my crappie baits in JJ's...plus a little MegaStrike. Got a new tube of Mega the other week, need to refresh my empty JJ's bottles. Quote
