SDoolittle Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I drove through a construction zone, and I ended up with little tar spots on the underside of my boat. A little elbow grease was enough to get the bulk of it off, but some of the bigger spots smeared, and I can't get them off. What would you use to remove really nasty stuff like road tar? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 28, 2013 Super User Posted March 28, 2013 Goo Gone, maybe? Test it on a small spot, obviously. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted March 28, 2013 Super User Posted March 28, 2013 Tarminator is gel coat and clearcoat safe. Quote

RyneB Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Tarminator is gel coat and clearcoat safe. I have never used this, but my buddy did and it worked great. Goo Gone will work too. Quote
