bassfinder Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Does anyone know if the plastic tray that the baits sit in serves any purpose or can it be removed? If it can be removed you could combine several packs into one. 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 27, 2013 Super User Posted March 27, 2013 Keep the tray. It's designed to keep the claws intact. 1 Quote
Jake P Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Without that tray the claws will get bent and will not produce the best action. 1 Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted March 27, 2013 Super User Posted March 27, 2013 I have some old packages without the tray and have had no issues with the craws becoming deformed, but that is why Big O designed that packaging, to keep them perfectly formed. 1 Quote
Big-O Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Does anyone know if the plastic tray that the baits sit in serves any purpose or can it be removed? If it can be removed you could combine several packs into one. The plastic Clams help me to provide you with my very best effort, best bait, best final bait action and best possible bite results. I've never been satisfied with less than my best effort... nor do I expect others to accept any less, from me All of our RT products are designed, produced, individually hand assembled and packaged here in the USA. Now if you want to remove them from the Clamshell and put them in a bag... It's OK, I forgive you Actually with certain styles or designs like the craw etc, if I know that I will use several in a very short period of time, I'll put them in my pocket loose because the deformation doesn't occur that fast. Now at the end of the day, back in the clam they go! With the Eeliminators, Shad and Toad... They stay in the clamshell until they go on the hook, because they're design and action results are extremely dependant on the precise Shape and hooking procedures required. Can you tell that I'm a picky ole rascal 7 Quote
trackersc Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 you might be picky but you make a excellent bait!!!!! 2 Quote

GoneFishi'n Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Hey Big-O, I have a pack of rage craws that smell nothing like what Im used to. I have four other packs and all of Them smell like the usual coffee scent. It's the blue craw color and its just a weird smell. Is this meant for this color? Quote
