Hey guys. I was in the local Walmart today and just wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with Culprit spinnerbaits? Was curious on quality mostly. They appear to be very inexpensive ($2.47 for double willowleaf spinnerbait and buzzbait) and I was curious if it was a "get what you pay for" sort of thing. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It's ok for the price. It's just a basic spinnerbait with a ball bearing swivel and silicone skirt. Nothing extra, nothing missing. It will get the job done.

for $1.47 less you can get the walmart spinner baits for $1, no idea who makes them but they catch fish...

They are listed as SK promo, the SK representing Strike King.

I have a White/Cart. one that I have had for years.  I am not a big fan of the skirt material and the bearing is just alright, but I have caught quiet a few fish with it, especially pike/pickerel.  The toothy critters seem to like it way more than the bass do, but it has held up well.

I like my WarEagle and Terminator spinnerbaits a lot more, but if I was in the market for a less expensive spinnerbait I would pick this one up again.

Keep your eye on the clearance aisle too, I just picked up a SK KVD RedEye spinnerbait at Walmart for $3 that is much better quality than the Culprit spinnerbait.

are the skirts on these wire tied? or are they just rubber banded

My Strikeback has a rubber band.

Use whatever you can afford-as long as you are out fishing-thats all that matters.

Thanks. Agreed. Those walmart ones work fine, just retie the skirts with some heavy braided fishing line so they don't slip off and go fishing.

Thanks tons for the replies guys. I don't normally go for the cheaper ones but they didn't look too bad, especially for the price. Thanks again.
