As well as the G. Loomis GL2 7' M casting, 6' 10" M casting, and the 7' 1" M spinning rod, all for the same price.

Well looks like I just found my new worm rod. Thanks for posting this.

Dang it, it's in store only. I never get to get these good deals.

I was able to get it in my cart at $119, and shipping was free. So far I have been able to avoid the impulse buy.

*** *** rods. from tackle warehouse free shipping, the prices start at 99.99 and go up to 120.

last year i had four looms gl2 rods, i thought they were very nice till i tried the *** rod. i sold every gl2 i owned and switched over to the *** *** rods i liked them that much. everything about it is better than the gl2 IMO.  comparing the 7'1 gl2 to the 7'1 ***, the *** is noticibly lighter, no tip heavy like the gl2, has better tip action and a little more backbone, and the sensitivity blows the gl2 away. i find the handle more comfortable, but thats personal perferance.

the gl2 rods should be a  embarasement to the G loomis name. if you want that true Loomis experience, try a imx and up. the *** rod is very comparable to the imx, which is a nice rod.
