Just wanting some opinions on what everyone thinks is the best, just now really starting to fish them alot and the Senko is almost double the price of some of the others. If i use them alot like i plan on doing this season, is it worth the cost to get the original?

Stankxbaitco stick baits for me after going from GYCB to dingers and I think the stankxbaitco are as good if not better than dingers but they all catch fish z:)

Big Bite Baits trick sticks and Bitters Salty Slings seem to  catch as many fish for me as the original pack of GYB senkos. I personally wouldn't waste the money on GYB or try looking on overstock bait

I've used Senkos, Yum Dingers, Zoom Z-nails and some things I've cobbled together. I've been unable to detect any difference among them, but you'd have to catch a lot of fish over a long period of time while testing under controlled conditions, which is extremely difficult, to draw conclusions. So, make some assumptions and fish whichever you have confidence in.

Senko's for me but I can't blame those who prefer a more affordable option.

Ditto. All I know is I catch fish with GYCB Senkos. I'm not saying that the others don't but if something is working I tend to leave well enough alone.

Baptist, Methodist, Reformed, Presbyterian, or Catholic?   :)  This is a borderline religious question...

My attempt at a non-religious answer:  Any of the brands you've listed above will catch fish.  On any given day, the action of one brand or another might be more enticing to bass and lead to more strikes... But, in the long run, I think it probably all comes out in the wash.  How you fish them and color selection (which probably needn't be as complicated as we make it, either) has way more to do with catch rates than the brand of stick bait.

I use GYCB.  Why? It was the first thing I bought along with a back of SK Shim-E-Sticks.  The senkos seemed (to me) to have more hook-ups.  From then on, I suppose I've been reluctant to leave what works.  I have used other brands, though (SK, BPS, Yum) and caught fish... So, I know it's mainly a confidence thing.  But, I feel better paying the premium and fishing a true senko.

Whatever you got/get will work.  But, if you're obsessive like me, buy one color in several brands, fish 'em, and then dogmatically stick to the one that you think produces the best.  You'll sleep better at night and fish better on the water.

PS : In before the link/lock from the mods.   ;)

Thanks for the advice guys, looks like i will try out several different brands in the next few months and see what works best for me. I'm gonna put in an order for some of the Stankxbaitco stick baits and the Big Bite Baits trick sticks since i cant seem to find them locally. If all else fails, i will stick with the Senko. i purchased a couple of bags of the dingers today to test out, watermelon pearl and watermelon red. i'm a bit obsessive when it comes to tackle and try not to out spend my wallet. But at this time every year it happens and i do not see it stopping anytime soon, better just put in those OT hours to support my habit haha.

I can't believe its lasted 20+ minutes. There is a Senko sticky at the start of this forum, covers everything senko wise.

Yum Dingers and Ochos are the closest to Senkos. I prefer the dingers if Im not fishing GYCB. I usually stick with the original though.
