Ok, so i have a huge giftcard for amazon.com, and want to get some my first spool of Yo Zuri Hybrid.  But they only offer the nornal stuff, not the ultra soft.  Can i get away with regular Yo Zuri in #6 on my spinning gear, or should i wait and get the ultra soft. Thanks.

Yes the original works just fine. I have the 6lb on my spinning rod right now.

No issue with memory or coiling?

I have not had any issues with this.  Treat it with some line conditioner and it gets even better.

Right now I use Real Magic and it does a pretty good job, but plan on picking up the KVD line and lure conditioner next time I hit BPS.

I have used 6lb hybrid original treated with KVD line and lure for the past couple of years on my spinning rods, and love it.

I have 6# on two of my spinning set ups and it handles fine. I don't use any line conditioner and have had zero issues with coiling or memory. Pull the trigger and get some.

you are going to need KVD line conditioner, I have hybrid on 6lb and 8lb. It is a good line, but need to manage the line twist.

Make sure you have a 2500 size reel, i tried the 6lb hybrid on my 1000 size reels and it was non stop coils and memory. I got rid of that stuff asap and went back to braid with flouro leaders.

I did pick up a spool of 8lb supersoft im going to try on my core for the hell of it...
