jignfule Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Wondering if I can access fishing shows like Zona. Bass pro, Strike King etc. on a T.V. without a cable or satellite connection. I know Linder has a $4.99 a month channel through the computer. Just interested in what's available. Thanks 1 Quote
Super User MCS Posted March 23, 2013 Super User Posted March 23, 2013 I haven't found any but hopefully I overlooked something. Still not worth a cable bill every month tho Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted March 23, 2013 Super User Posted March 23, 2013 The outdoor channel has some good fishing shows on it but I have xfinity, which sucks IMO. Other than that I kno some ESPN channels broadcast bassmasters tournaments and NBC has a few fishing shows on weekends Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted March 23, 2013 Super User Posted March 23, 2013 I have cable, but it seems like 80% of the programming is focused on hunting anyway. Hootie 1 Quote

Hootie Yep when we had satalite it was like you had a dedicated a 2 hour block once a week to fishing rest was hunting, mainly whitetail deer too. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 24, 2013 Super User Posted March 24, 2013 I have Comcast, not shortage of fishing programs. Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 24, 2013 Super User Posted March 24, 2013 We have four "cable channels" that feature fishing shows in Richmond, Virginia. We have no "non-cable channels" that feature fishing shows in Richmond, Virginia. As stated above, go to YouTube for the information you seek. Cable TV has the fishing channels and shows so you need to do your research to decide if it is worth the money to suscribe to a cable provider and to make sure the channels carrying fishing shows are included in your package. Here are the cable channels in Richmond we can view fishing shows: NBC Sports Outdoor Channel Sportsman Channel World Fishing Network Quote
HeavyDluxe Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Lunkerville has old episodes online at their website. I'm in the same boat, so I'm watching this thread with interest. 1 Quote
esoxangler Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I know online you can watch lindners angling edge episodes. Of course it is not always about bass but a variety of freshwater species. He has 13 episodes for 2011 & 2012, and I think 11 or so for 2013 ( this is how they are listed on the site). Quote
prjavelin Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 for around 12$ you can watch the cups from Major league fishing. Lunkerville has a lot of episodes for free. flw website has a lot of the shows from the tournaments online free. You tube has some episodes online for different shows. A lot of the guys have videos of their shows online. Like scott martin who has a lot of episodes online. World Fishing Network is worth the money. I also watch a lot of the Pursuit channel and Outdoor channel. The latter two are more hunting than fishing. 1 Quote
