sunkboat on big o Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Fished both bass buster tournys last weekend with some fish in mind found the previous weekend. Went to the fish sat morning and missed more fish than I ever have in my short fishing life. Left there empty handed and on to next spot, caught a 5.5 on bed and another 3 but by then was getting late so decided to practice for sunday. Went back sunday and water looked completely different. Caught a ton of little ones, couldnt see the beds, and finished with 9lbs. Had the fish to atleast check sat just could not put them in the boat. Sunday just couldnt get bites. Oh well keep trying. Have 2 tournys there this weekend, guess I'll donate some more. Quote

Gotfishyfingers? Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I hit up the lake on Sunday. Only caught dinks. I missed a nice top water strike first thing on a frog in the grass. I caught most on a stick bait. Saw beds but the bunks were empty. Quote

piscicidal Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Hey, at least you guys are fishing. I've been working and on the road constantly this year. I've been in the boat three times since January, and all three times it was a dink fest. I'm gonna have to change the name of my blog from the "Hawg Blog" to the "Dink Blog". 1 Quote
