Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 21, 2013 Super User Posted March 21, 2013 The snook fishing has been very sub par the last few months. Maybe because it was the first day of spring I caught 2 snook. There are 4 species of snook that I'm aware of, the common snook which is the biggest, tarpon snook, swordspine snook and fat snook. We seldom see fat snook in our area, caught 2 of them yesterday, I may have caught but 3 or 4 or them in 10 years. These snook run only about 20", not a monumental fight, pretty easy really, but I was real happy to catch an unusual fish. 1 Quote

BrettD Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I've only caught 2 of them. Both on the same day. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 22, 2013 Author Super User Posted March 22, 2013 Nope. No point for a photo of a 5# (if that) fish when you're alone in the middle of the night, can't stretch it out to the camera and make it look like weighs 15#.............. Quote
