One of my favorite quotes "it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog" this little smallie had me thinking he was a pike. Great fish

There are some frickin' chunks posted here. If these pics won't make you run and grab your pole nothing will. Well here is my all time biggest brownie I caught last spring. She went someting like 4lbs. 8oz. I've lost the pic of my biggest greenie which went for 5lbs plus post spawn.

I need to go get pics off CDs, my big largemouth is 10-5, next 9-13 and many more 8 and 9+ and biggest smallmouth is 7-3. I've caught 100+ smallies over 5 lbs, but only 3 over 7 lbs.

I had a good run last spring but haven't been out much this year. Heading to Sam Rayburn for a week, but would rather go to falcon or Amistad. My sons and SIL hit it right last April and scored dozens of 8-10s over the course of 10 days.

Those are some good feesh there for Maine or anywhere else Mainebass.

Thanks man ! There some huge largemouth in Maine. Midcoast Maine seems to get all the attention but... There are other places in Maine where giants swim. A couple years ago I did a tourney in western maine. A guy got a 9-3 and he didnt even get lunker in the tourney !
