YeahSure Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Whats everyone's favorite swim jigs? And what are your preferred trailers for them? Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted April 7, 2010 Super User Posted April 7, 2010 Any old jig can swim but I like the poison tails. I use a trailer that I make. I'd post a pic but this site will no longer let me post pics. Quote
J. M. Richardson Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 I like the Outkast tackle swim jigs, very good color selections and good weights. For a trailer I use their Fat Tail Grub 5" or a baby brush hog. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted April 7, 2010 Super User Posted April 7, 2010 Have never used them - yet - but I've got a bunch ordered from ***.com. His detailed write up and explanation concerning the Wisconsin Swim Jig design, convinced me. Quote

Jack Handey Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Lethal Weapon II - customlures.com 5" yamamoto grub that compliments the jig run it over the pads, through the grass up here it rules Quote
Super User David P Posted April 24, 2010 Super User Posted April 24, 2010 Dirty Jigs Tackle makes the sickest swim jigs I've found. I like their 3/8oz Swim Jig and then I also really like using the No Jack jigs in 1/2oz and 3/4oz for getting them deeper. The Swim Jig I use a little paddle tail swimbait or a paca chunk, but for the no Jack I use larger swimbaits like a 3:16 Mighty Minnow, and other swimbaits on the back. Instead of imitating a craw, you're just imitating a bait fish. They make some sick blue gill colors that have worked wonders over here in California. Quote
