I didn't forget it Jeff, I purposely omitted that particular pattern.

As you know, Baby Grennel is a special run custom color by LC and very rarely available.

I lock mine in the safe . . . .

I ordered a subscription to Bass Master Magazine a month or 2 ago and I was automatically enrolled in B.A.S.S.  Today when I got home from work, there was a little packet sitting on the table with a B.A.S.S. patch, a couple stickers and a little tackle bag.  I'm thinking the bag is just the right size to hold all my soft plastics.  That would free up more room in my larger bag for more hard baits but then I'd have to carry 2 bags.  I dunno.  I'll have to think on it.  Either way free stuff is always cool.

I finally pulled the trigger on my first Loomis (off shelf have a custom Loomis Flipping Stick), a GLX 853, I was originally going to nab the 893 but I didn't think I need one longer than 7' for now.  I also got a discontinued Cumara 6'9" MH/XF and I was set to buy the discontinued Cumara flipping stick until I was recommended the Fenwick Aetos 7'6" H/XF.  It felt better in store and felt just as sensitive as the Cumara.  So I said wth, lets go for it.  I got them all below retail, $30 off GLX, $20 off Aetos and $70 off Cumara.  No more rods for awhile!

Knew I shouldn't have said that, I couldn't pass up on buying a GLX 854C from a guy who didn't use it basically new for 280.  He bought it last year it is the newer GLX.

I hear that. I started using Red Label, and my hair fell out.

I finally went out and bought the vinyl mat to stick inside my plano boxes. Thanks for the tip Gene.

I then proceeded to "test" it out by throwing my tackle around the house.

It works. However, it garnered some strange looks from my kids and our cat.

I was able to find a like-new Dobyns DX745 FH on an online flea market at a very fair price.

Nope, I like it, I like it better than any other fluoro I have ever used. I am using it in every size from 8-20lb, just as leader material, I use braid as mainline on all my rods. Last year I used a few sizes of it while using up my supply of Vanish and Trilene 100% fluoro. That fish in my avatar, a 6-10, dozens of 5+lb fish, and a handful of other 6's were caught last year using Red Label. Some in nasty/heavy cover with the big sticks, and it never let me down. For $12ish a spool, I can't think of any better bang for the buck in fluoro. I am sure Tatsu is better, I have tried Abrazx..........mehhh....I didn't find it any better for the extra cost over RL. Maybe if I was filling my reels up, and using fluoro as a main line I'd go with the higher priced stuff.
