Super User Paul Roberts Posted March 23, 2013 Super User Posted March 23, 2013 Diggy, Are you guys in the spawn season now? Quote
jhoffman Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Gonna need a bigger bait. Our DCNR found a state record musky floating a couple of summers ago. 50+" it was choking on a 20" bass and died. Inside it had an 8lb carp and half a dozen gills and was still going at it. Quote

Brick Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I was fishing in a small pond at a house I was watching and wasn't expecting to catch anything of size. The lady that owned the house mentioned that the guy that owned the house b4 caught and released a 10 lb bass into the pond from another body of water. Anyways, I hooked a 12 incher on a rooster tail on ultra light. I got it up to the dock when the monster came up and swallowed it. I fought him for a good 5 minutes before he spit the smaller bass out. It was insane. Quote
gobig Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 If bass got to be 100lbs jet skis would be like buzz baits. Quote
jhoffman Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I thought maybe this was the same? That one in the article is definitely on a boat. http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/excursions/post/angler-lands-two-big-bass-at-once-including-one-trying-to-swallow-the-other/#.UV1o-Ntgytw.facebook Quote
