Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 Wow great colors and the body is segmented. i'd say go for it if your a fan of those types of baits. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted April 21, 2010 Super User Posted April 21, 2010 Looks like a Swimming Senko knockoff to me. I have good luck with the real thing, maybe this works, too. 8-) Quote
Bass Junkie Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks guys. I hadn't thought of it bein' a Swimmin' Senko knock-off..... And I was hopin' it would be a lower priced substitute for a hollow belly... Quote

Which is fine for me, them Japanese soft tails are expensive, add the shipping costs and they become more expensive, plus they are really really soft so the durability makes them even more expensive, to make it worse, hard to find. > Quote
Bass Junkie Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 I'll be lookin' into 'em. Thanks. Raul- If you have that many probs with Japanese baits, just send 'em to me. I'd be happy to dispose of them properly.... LOL. Quote

It 's a love/hate relationship, man, they have great action but if you happen to sneeze hard they fall appart, if you are lucky you can squeeze a couple of fish out of each bait. Quote
bocabasser Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 i just started throwing them. i like what i have caught so far. the only thing that i don't like is you have to use a weighted hook. at first i thought it would be very difficult to pull me away from the dipper, but after a couple of pigs over 5 pounds i am slowly being convinced. i look at it as another tool in my tool box. plus the factory is only 10 minutes from my house and 2 of gamblers employees are in my club, so they hook us up with bulk for very cheap. Yes they do....towards the end of last year I realized there is something special about their scent. My gf kicked my #%$ with a Gambler bait while I kept throwing others. It was the only difference I could conclude. Then I started noticing some big fish catching differences. :-X I hate the hard plastic they use though. But then again, what does a bass eat that is soft. : Quote
