Overstock bait has 4lb. Green and 6lb. smoke, 1lb. spools, for about $23 each. Seems like a good deal. Any problems with the colored YZ lines? I realize that a 1 lb. spool of hybrid will probably last me and all my fishing buddies the rest of our lives, but, well, actually, what is the shelf life of Hybrid?

Thanks. And please, don't go buy it all up before I get a couple spools! :)

It's been up for weeks, so they must have a huge surplus of it. I announced it a while back and it seems like a good chunk of people grabbed some. I personally don't use it but it is spoken very highly of around here. I'm sure someone will have an answer you're looking for.

I bought one.  I use the 6lb on spinning regularly.  Shelf life seems to be fine.  Just keep dry and cool.

I have a pound of #6 and #12 that I bought more than a year ago. I think the line will

be good forever if stored in at mid range temperatures. I don't really know, but there

is so much line on these spools, I will let you know in 5 or 6 years!

Is the smoke color a lot visible than the clear? The only mono color I have used is clear. I have also used braid and a flouro leader on some of my reels.

I need some smoke in 10 or 12#. I bought some 10# clear, treated it with KVD LnL, and I love this stuff.

I may have gotten a bad spool. The smoke 12 lb I bought off ebay was terrible. Was thinking it was just old. The clear spool I have is good line. It's marked "ultra soft" tho and came from bps.
