38 Super Fan Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Another eBay victim. I recently picked up a Super Duty there for $102 shipped, and a Tourney Pro for $135. I've been spending way too much lately, I've got a bad habit of trying to jump on good deals. Quote
KentuckyDave Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 Forgot to mention it was NIB as well Quote
KentuckyDave Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 you are correct sir! How can they afford to let them go at that price? I would have had it for $77 but someone big $82 with 1 second left but I had a max bid over that....I know retailers have MAPP pricing they have to follow but why do some not have to follow MSRP? 38 Super Fan Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 They told me they lost money on the Super Duty they sold me, they've been listing a ton of reels at no reserve, when you run NR auctions anything can happen. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted March 11, 2013 Super User Posted March 11, 2013 Sounds like you got it at their cost. The tackle store at the lake I fish is where I order all of my Lews reels from. He charges me about $10 over cost plus Md taxes. I paid $90 plus tax for my tournament. My BB1's were $110 for the 7:1 and $100 for the 5:1 My TP's were $140 Quote
skeletor6 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Nice find! You will like the ergonomics of the reel and how it lays on the rod if your rod has a decent seat Quote
